On the top floor of a beautiful, typical Hungarian building with an elevator. This kind of apartment set up is very rare in Budapest, as it’s hidden on the 4th floor, though it’s very quiet, very comfy and very lightly all day long, with no other apartments overlooked as it is facing a university.
Each of the 3 separated bedrooms have their own king size bed (160*200) in each room, with a high quality mattress, super cozy bed linens & bed duvets and pillows (Towels are provided too).
A grand living and dining room with a huge comfy sofa and a huge Smart TV (FREE WIFI) and fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, oven, microwave, dish washer, coffee maker, outstanding toaster, cutlery, crockery…).
A big bathroom fully equipped with a washing machine, hairdryer, iron, ironing board and whatever else you may need during a short or mid stay, obviously a shower and a huge bath to chill after a long tourism day walking in the city.
Other little extra things are provided for your comfort as well. For example, FREE WELCOME DRINKS and COFFEE or others surprises to make you feel more like you are home and not an unfriendly hotel. The apartment is very spacious and can comfortably host 6 people, ideally for 3 couples or a family.
Located on Brandy Sandor, in the 8th district, it is the perfect place to enjoy Budapest’s life style, all commodities at your doorstep (bakery, grocery stores, chocolate shop, tearoom, restaurants, massages, hair dresser, museum…).
Right next to 5th and 7th districts, it’s the perfect location, it’s very alive during the day as some universities are around (Film & cinema University, University of Health Sciences, Catholic University, German Language University, Dance school…), and it becomes quiet at night time.
Beautiful places are within walking distance… the Hunagrian National Museum, Mikszath Kalman place, Synagogue, Váci street (shopping), Kiraly street (Bar), Danube, and …also the bustling streets with the best of Budapest’s nightlife within 3 to10 minutes’ walk from the apartment with plenty of restaurants, cafés, bars, and the world-famous ruin pubs ( Szimpla Kert, Doboz, Kotor, Instant, Szóda, Sufni, Fogasház etc.).
The apartment is conveniently located too, within one minute walk from the tram and only five minutes from Blaha Lujza square metro station and Astoria Metro….
Spring is a wonderful time of year in Budapest and there is plenty to love about the city. The trees come back to life, the flowers are in bloom all over Budapest and as soon as the first warm, sunny days arrive, people flock to the streets and the entire city comes alive.
Although the cold winter weather gives way to spring-like temperatures and abundant sunshine by March, spring truly begins in April, when the many parks, promenades and outdoor cafés fill with people looking to relieve their spring fever. Spring is also a great time to score cheaper tickets to Budapest before the tourist rush of the summer.
On the cultural front there are plenty of spring events to enjoy in the city, ranging from film festivals and outdoor exhibitions to wine and pálinka festivals and cherry blossom celebrations.
During Summer, Budapest’s nightlife extends to the many garden pubs, festivals and temporary outdoor pubs located in parks and courtyards. Get insider's info on the best happenings and parties in town! Especially in the summer the street feels as if it was a Mediterranean summer vacation area with palm trees and coffees with terraces. In august, the famous music festival takes place on freedom island - http://szigetfestival.com/, a week of craziness to do not miss.
Autumn: The fall is also the perfect time to visit one of the many parks in Budapest or plan a day trip to Szentendre or the Danube Bend and take in the beautiful scenery of fall foliage with the changing colors of autumn leafs. Hungary is famous for its wine and one of the best ways to experience its wine making traditions is to take a harvest trip to Tokaj, Eger, Villány or one of its many other wine regions. Several wineries offer wine tasting

Winter is a great time to visit Budapest and the city certainly doesn't shut down when the weather gets cold. If you are a foodie, you will love Budapest's winter festivals, but there are also plenty of indoor activities to stay warm. Here are some 'cool' ideas for things to do in Budapest in the winter. Ice-skating at Budapest's main skating rink, and the largest outdoor skating rink in Europe.
If there is enough snow to slide, head to Normafa, a popular sledding spot in the Buda Hills. With its many trails, Normafa is also a good place for winter hikes. It can get crowded on the weekends, but the scenery is beautiful and the air is crisp and clean.
You'll like the annual Fridge Festival showcasing snowboarders and freestyle skiers competing for the Fridge title. This four-day long festival, held in November, is usually the first winter-themed event of the season in Budapest, True foodies who appreciate high quality locally sourced ingredients will love the Mangalica Festival, dedicated to the Hungarian heritage breed pig. The Mangalica Festival is usually held in early February in Szabadság tér. Gőzölgő Festival is Budapest's new winter-themed gastro festival held in Erzsébet tér.
Plenty of steaming hot drinks from some of the city's best coffee houses and wine bars along with some live concerts will keep visitors warm. Don’t forget to bring your swimming gears to visit Széchenyi thermal baths..
You’ll be pleasantly surprised, by the massage too.. Budapest's Christmas markets to get into the holiday spirit. The scent of mulled wine and roasted chestnuts will guide you to Vörösmarty tér, where the city's largest Christmas Fair is held. The best time to visit is at night, when the square is all lit up with sparkling Christmas lights. Another Christmas Market to visit is the one in front of the Basilica, where you'll also find a small ice-rink.
