Area description:
Located in an totally new area, in a building with garage and swimming pool.
It has a good highway and subway and suburban trains which has several stops in downtown Madrid. After the extension of Metro Line 1, with the stations in Villa de Vallecas and Sierra de Guadalupe, have created many works of new buildings, including very good qualities that appeal to young people, built parks for children and all shops necessary.
It is one of the best communicated with the center of the city, Metro Line 1, Renfe rail, motorways M30 - M40 - M45, bus lines 54, 58, 63, 103, 130, 142, 145, E, H1 , SE717 and T32. The general assessment is a quiet area with many small gardens, parks with playgrounds, wooded areas and all necessary shops like Ikea, Carrefour and everything you need to not have to go to the shopping center.
Vallecas neighbourhood is located in the Southern area of Madrid. This territory is currently divided into two districts: Puente de Vallecas and Villa de Vallecas. In Vallecas, the open and responsible character of its inhabitants stands out. The locals usually call their neighbourhood Vallekas. This area has suffered strong transformations during the last years, and there are big differences among neighbourhoods. From narrow streets with modest houses, many of them state subsidized houses from the late 50s, others in noisy areas or areas with much traffic, others completely new, with recent 5 or 6 floor buildings, some placed next to each other surrounding interior gardens, organized in grids. Renowned events are a popular parties, like the batalla naval (battleship). Village parties are celebrated the first week in September. The San Silvestre Vallecana, a point of reference in athletics, is celebrated every year on December 31st, San Silvestre’s day, just like the 100 km test in Villa de Madrid, that goes by the dictrict of Puente de Vallecas. The historic center of Vallecas preserves the aspect and environment of a rural town. In its lively center, full of shops, there are still small white houses with tiled roofs, narrow and winding streets and even a beautiful church from the XVI century. A long time ago, the town had a bad reputation but today none of that is left. The standard of living has raised and it gains more appreciation every day.
