This is an airy, bright and highly comfortable apartment with stylish decor and open green views. Plus a swimming pool! It is in located in a quiet, easily accessible location some 10 minutes away from SoHo, Central.
It's great for single travellers or couples who want to have a quiet stay in a comfy private residence with character and style while remaining close to the entertainment and dining hub of the city (i.e. Central) without having to pay exorbitant rent. You can spend an afternoon on the summer bed reading or enjoying the open view, detox at the sauna parlour of the residential complex, then return home for a hot bath, and pick a DVD from my big film collection for some evening indoor entertainment. Alternatively, get a cab or minibus for a quick ride to Central to see a concert at the Fringe Club, a fine meal at SoHo and a drink at Lan Kwai Fong.
FURNISHED: The flat is fully furnished with everything you need for a pleasant stay: bath tub, free internet, a double bed, 3-seat sofa, a well equipped kitchen (toaster, kettle, rice cooker, fridge & freezer, etc), one desk, a dining table that can be unfolded to seat 6, DVD player, hi-fi, radio, TV (local channels + Al-jazeera), ceiling fan, air-con, various stylish lights to create different ambiences, a foot massage machine, and even a planetarium for star-gazing!
BUILDING: The well-maintained residential complex is served by 24-hour security. The guards are friendly and responsible. There are sauna parlours, a playground, and free newspapers and magazines in the lobby.
LOCATION: The building is located in between Kennedy Town and Pokfulam, a quiet and upmarket area on Hong Kong Island. It is very well connected even without the metro being nearby, 10 minutes by cab, bus or minibus to SoHo. Only 10 to 15 minutes to Kowloon (Tsim Sha Tsui or Jordan) by bus. There are at least 12 bus or mini-bus routes going to Central, and many others going to Admiralty, Wan Chai, Causeway Bay, North Point et al. Restaurants and supermarkets 5 minutes away.
RENT: Rent covers all utilities (wifi connection, water, gas and electricity). There is no washing machine in the flat, but for anyone staying for more than 4 nights, a weekly laundry allowance of HK$40 at maximum is provided (that's more or less the cost for one laundry for two persons over a week). Clean laundry can be delivered to your doorstep!
